Add and remove specialists mid-chat

You can change your team at any point in a chat. Open the members panel, add a specialist when the discussion needs a new skill, or remove one that is not pulling its weight. The conversation keeps its history, so newcomers catch up and the group stays the right size.

The team you start with is not the team you are stuck with. As a conversation shifts, so can the people in it — bring in a new skill, or thin the room when it gets crowded.

Step by step

  1. 1

    Open the members panel

From inside the chat, open the members panel to see who is currently on the team.

  2. 2

    Add a specialist

Bring in a new profile when the conversation needs a skill nobody in the room has yet.

  3. 3

Remove one that is not helping

If a specialist is not adding much, remove them — a tighter room gives clearer answers.

  4. 4

    Keep the group small

A handful of contrasting voices beats a crowd. Trim as the topic narrows.

Why change mid-chat

A conversation rarely stays on one topic. Adding the right specialist at the right moment — and dropping the ones who have done their part — keeps every reply relevant.

FAQ

Do new agents see the earlier conversation?

Yes — a specialist you add can read the chat so far, so they catch up and contribute without you repeating yourself.

Is there a limit to team size?

A chat holds a small team by design. Keep it lean — a few contrasting voices produce sharper answers than a crowded room.
